My name is Vaishnavi Thankam, a Production Designer working across film, television, stage, and fashion. I am drawn to the magic of building worlds whether it is to design a cinematic set, crafting a theatrical stage, or bringing a fashion runway to life.

My creative process is deeply rooted in culture, especially my Indian heritage, which continous to inspire my visual language and storytelling. I believe in the power of design to transform space and emotion blending tradition with innovation to shape immersive experiences.I’m passionate about hands on creation, from sketching concepts to overseeing the build of sets and spaces that feel lived-in, layered, and alive. My work is guided by intention, curiosity, and a love for the details that make a story unforgettable.

Outside of production, I find joy and inspiration in museums, art shows, film, music videos, and the natural world. These diverse influences enrich my creative vision and inform the thoughtful, culturally nuanced design I bring to every project.
